Why do you think your post(s) was censored?

Because I am naked in my shoot.

Were you able to appeal and what was the response?

Noo.

What effect has your experience of censorship had on you?

My work is around self-expression and showing the truth of my disability. Nothing explicit was visible in my image, it was well-posed, but it’s stopped me from being able to share my experience with an audience.

The photos I had removed are part of a project called inescapable I have been creating exploring the notion of self and my chronic illness and disability and living with the physical and mental changes I experience.

What’s one thing you want people to know about this topic?

That all bodies are different and naked does not mean sexual.
