What reason was given for your ban?

Nudity.

Why do you think your post(s) was censored?

I have no idea, I can understand the policy against nudity on social media, but all of my works were censored by me, to stay inside the guidelines.

Were you able to appeal and what was the response?

I did many times, but even if the post has been censored by me, or it didn’t even show any nudity or sexual activity it got removed anyway. one time one of my pictures portraying a tattooed woman has been reported and flagged as “self-harm”.

What effect has your experience of censorship had on you?

it made me feel like my art is wrong, or is not supposed to be seen.

What’s one thing you want people to know about this topic?

We live in 2022, but for centuries, different cultures around the globe shown nude bodies through arts, with no shame but beauty. Nudity is not always related to sex, and it is definitely time to learn this.
