What reason was given for your ban?

None. I shoot boudoir and my work was constantly being removed or reported.  Because of that, I was shadow banned.

Why do you think your post(s) was censored?

Nudity. It is somewhat sexual content, but there are legit models and porn accounts that stay up whereas my work is an art and I’m a photographer.

Were you able to appeal and what was the response?

Yes.  None of them went back online.

What effect has your experience of censorship had on you?

Less growth. I used to have amazing growth and now I’ve been at the same number for 5 years.  This impacts my business

What’s one thing you want people to know about this topic?

Art should be viewed differently and if Instagram has content rules, they should apply to everyone.
