What reason was given for your ban?
They introduced a random rule to not allow promoting tweets. A lot of Twitter influencers got their accounts removed because of it.
Why do you think your post(s) was censored?
The only way most Twitter influencers can make money is by promoting businesses under their viral tweets. By creating this new rule, Twitter is removing the only way for people with followings to get money on the platform.
Were you able to appeal and what was the response?
After more than 1 year, the account was spontaneously revived.
What effect has your experience of censorship had on you?
I mainly got money from influencing on Twitter, without this platform, I was left in the dark.
What’s one thing you want people to know about this topic?
Twitter must reward its influencers better.
