Sexual solicitation

Why do you think your post(s) was censored?

My whole account was deleted on the day of my wedding anniversary by a jealous fan who reported me for solicitation.

Were you able to appeal and what was the response?

Yes. No response. Completely ignored.

What effect has your experience of censorship had on you?

I feel targeted and demoralised and have lost a lot of income from it. I was super careful with my account (I NEVER directly advertised my fan platforms) and posted clothed pictures, but because of the stigma and discrimination towards sex work my account was still permanently deleted despite using the platform (Instagram) for over ten years.

What’s one thing you want people to know about this topic?

That being sexual is a valid form of self-expression and should not be censored by banks and social media platforms.
