What reason was given for your ban?

I’ve been taken down for sexual activity.

Why do you think your post(s) was censored?

I have no idea. Even though I’m a model just posting a bikini photo or an artistic photo that doesn’t show a single thing. And I’ve also been taken down for hate speech towards men for speaking up about being treated poorly on Instagram by men and sharing the thing some men have said to me in my DM. And I never shared their identity. Just what they said and how it made me feel.

Were you able to appeal and what was the response?

No response.

What effect has your experience of censorship had on you?

My business is getting no visibility. As a model, it’s so important to be seen – engagement matters to clients. My own friends say they can’t see my content.

What’s one thing you want people to know about this topic?

You can’t just make people invisible.

You can’t tell people their existence isn’t important.

We all have our own stories and reasons for being on social media. Everyone deserves to tell their version of their stories through this platform. We aren’t on here to just look at celebrities.
