Nudity.

Why do you think your post(s) was censored?

People don’t appreciate their own bodies enough to accept other people’s. My body is an image of my journey, love, loss and strength. It carried my children. People are offended by that.

Were you able to appeal and what was the response?

Yes – they held that it was still a violation.

What effect has your experience of censorship had on you?

It knocked my confidence. I was feeling empowered at the time, by my body and its journey. It made me frustrated and disheartened that postpartum life isn’t as loved and accepted as Page 3.

What’s one thing you want people to know about this topic?

Don’t censor your life for the sake of others.
