What reason was given for your ban?

Sexual solicitation.

Why do you think your post(s) was censored?

Either reports from haters or a messed up algorithm inaccurately trying to target sex workers even though nothing I post is nudity nor soliciting sex.

Were you able to appeal and what was the response?

Yes, my main account with 180,000 followers has been disabled 4 times in the span of one month. I have yet to get my main account back for the fourth time and Instagram said they could not help me with disabling a report bot which leads to the disabling of my account. My second account is now also shadow banned and my content is getting taken down for the same thing. My large TikTok account with over 400,00 followers was just banned. I have had multiple videos taken down wrongfully. I have been fighting for my social media accounts and essentially my job with little to no help from the large companies.

What effect has your experience of censorship had on you?

It has taken away an incredible portion of my income, ability to network and negatively affected my mental health.

What’s one thing you want people to know about this topic?

It’s extremely wrong and it’s a big problem that a lot of people don’t know about. I feel that lately it has been happening more than ever and particularly to women.
