What reason was given for your ban?

“Goes against the community guidelines” “sale of adult objects” “sexual solicitation” when I was just posting fashion pictures of the garments I sell or even images that had been posted on other media outlets or magazines but censored on my page.  Especially with trans/non-binary bodies.

Why do you think your post(s) was censored?

Homo/transphobia.

Were you able to appeal and what was the response?

Yes, nothing happened, still deleted and shadow banned.

What effect has your experience of censorship had on you?

It fucks with my mental health and also with my business. I use  IG for promoting the garments I sell and if the content is not shown basically I don’t sell. Even with sponsored posts, it gets very limited exposure.

What’s one thing you want people to know about this topic?

Why is everyone so scared of a pair of tits or a bulge?
