What reason was given for your ban?

They give no reason for shadowbanning.

But my work is mostly artistic implied nude, it is not sexual but I feel that Instagram and social media sexualises the female form. The shadow ban has come on recently and starves my account’s engagement.

Why do you think your post(s) was censored?

I believe that the female form is often seen as sexual and is more censored. Especially the female nipple and or artistic nudes where you can’t see any of thing that could be seen as offensive.

Were you able to appeal and what was the response?

I have reported the problem of the shadowban but this doesn’t help.

What effect has your experience of censorship had on you?

No one is seeing my work, meaning this means less traffic to my account and then loss of engagement and business.

What’s one thing you want people to know about this topic?

Don’t give up on your craft.

Social media is not everything but things being unfairly censored should not be a thing, so fight!
