What reason was given for your ban?

We’ve had it all: content removal, shadow ban (still in it) and had our account frozen – all for ‘adult content’.

Why do you think your post(s) was censored?

Because we are small fish and Meta had an unequal and unbalanced and unreal idea of what freedom of speech looks like

Were you able to appeal and what was the response?

Yes.

What effect has your experience of censorship had on you?

It’s made it extremely hard to have open and honest conversations about intimacy in a way that people can relate to. It’s made our mission so difficult to accomplish and made our start-up hard to run. But Playboy is allowed to post whatever they want…

What’s one thing you want people to know about this topic?

That our idea of reality is being shaped by a corporation that earns money by defining how we view the world, in regards to so many things like body shapes, intimacy etc.
