Nudity.

Why do you think your post(s) was censored?

‘Sexual’ poses, but all the poses I use in personal work are taken from fine art and fashion photography.

Were you able to appeal and what was the response?

I did appeal, but they refused to put any of the posts back up.

What effect has your experience of censorship had on you?

I feel as a female photographer I am unable to showcase my work via socials as I wish I could. I walk around a classic art gallery and I am greeted with the female form in every room yet on social media I am not allowed to showcase my photography because it will offend? It seems like madness.

What’s one thing you want people to know about this topic?

Censorship is corrupt. How can social media control our creative freedom? These are the only places to promote our message yet they are the very places that stop it.
