What reason was given for your ban?

Nudity/hate speech.

Why do you think your post(s) was censored?

Partially because I’m a sex worker. The two posts that led to my account deletion were one about my own experience with domestic abuse (removed for hate speech) and a text call out for sex worker performers for my friend’s performance art night (for nudity).

In the past, I’ve repeatedly had content which does nothing violate any terms and conditions removed for nudity.

Were you able to appeal and what was the response?

Was not given the option to appeal. Have filled in help forms and emails with no response.

What effect has your experience of censorship had on you?

It has affected my ability to promote both my sex work, performance work and my writing.

What’s one thing you want people to know about this topic?

Sex work is work. My work explores the sex worker experience and aims to demystify the occupation.
