Why do you think your post(s) was censored?

Homophobia.

Were you able to appeal and what was the response?

I appealed, but it failed, I re-uploaded the image and used fewer ga /queer art hashtags and it received no complaints/removal.

What effect has your experience of censorship had on you?

It makes you rethink your art, you wonder if you are offending rather than celebrating or making a statement. It makes you wonder if you went too far if you’re dirty and a pervert rather than making an artistic statement.

What’s one thing you want people to know about this topic?

Sexuality gay or straight, kinky or vanilla should all be celebrated and not censored when they are less graphic than a shampoo commercial.
