What reason was given for your ban?

Sexual solicitation.

Why do you think your post(s) was censored?

My pictures were artistic nudes, intimate parts were hidden. To me, they were censored because I was naked, while all bodies are beautiful and natural.

Were you able to appeal and what was the response?

I did, some have been posted again but most of them didn’t come back. Instagram still calls them ‘sexual solicitation’ and threatens to block my account.

What effect has your experience of censorship had on you?

As a model, an artist and a free soul, this affects my job and my spirit. I will maybe lose my account while it helps me to share my work and to meet photographers. I can’t share my pictures because Instagram can’t bear nudity.

What’s one thing you want people to know about this topic?

Nudity is pure, a body is unique and beautiful. Censoring parts such as female nipples shouldn’t be. Our society can bear violence but can’t stand a body. There is something wrong.
