Nudity.

Why do you think your post(s) was censored?

No idea, there was nothing but skin on show, you couldn’t see any ‘offending’ parts.

Were you able to appeal and what was the response?

Yes, I was told it was against their community rules.

What effect has your experience of censorship had on you?

Annoyed, surprised and saddened that in this day and age the way an artist chooses to express themselves is still subjected to censorship. My fine art self-portraits are removed from the platform but tasteless sexually charged female content stays on without question.

What’s one thing you want people to know about this topic?

Artists and creators should be free to express their way of looking at the world and themselves with total freedom. Imposing limits on that compromises authenticity, and without authenticity, there’s no art.
