Adult sexual solicitation.

Why do you think your post(s) was censored?

Because the model in the photograph is a sex worker.

Were you able to appeal and what was the response?

I did, Instagram just said: ‘we’ve reviewed your feedback.’

What effect has your experience of censorship had on you?

It highly impacts the dispersion and visibility of my work which is hard enough as a fine artist already. These images are pieces that have been exhibited in galleries and exhibitions so it seems crazy that these are marked as “soliciting” without a justification.

What’s one thing you want people to know about this topic?

The female body shouldn’t keep being censored or taken down.
