Why do you think your post(s) was censored?

Because the dickheads at IG can’t decipher art from the information.

Were you able to appeal and what was the response?

All of Instagram’s Fact-Checkers saw the error in their flags and removed them all. Instagram didn’t seem to care and put the clench on my account. They even added a “Are you sure you want to follow Vemix pop up” that you have to accept before following me.

What effect has your experience of censorship had on you?

I went from 300 new followers a day to -20. I went from an average post engagement of 100k down to 200. I have also experienced a major decrease in sales. An average month of sales is 5k- 8k I have made $160 since my account restriction on Jan 9th.

What’s one thing you want people to know about this topic?

Art is not information. Everything on these platforms is edited to some degree. Hell Instagram makes you bypass a list of filters to even post on their platform. These flags should be limited to text. Sick your AI on actual information and quit shooting yourself in the foot impeding on the creators that fuel your machine.
